Derek has an affinity for finding elegant, non-obvious solutions to problems. At MAYA, a BCG Company, he gets to partner with some of the worlds greatest companies to re-think their business models, explore and develop new offerings, and positively impact their cultures.

Derek’s career path has been roundabout—he’s previously worked in field biology, startup operations, customer service, carpentry, consulting, and design. The diversity has proven to be an asset for developing creative solutions with a wide array of clients. Throughout his career, Derek has relied on his knack for learning things quickly and his predilection for good, old-fashioned hustle.
